When an openly gay speaker like me gets invited to speak at a relatively conservative, prominent Baptist university like Baylor, it’s a really big deal.
So I tried to do justice to the invitation with a thoughtful talk on the history of the church’s approach to LGBTQ people and how we can all do better—whether or not you agree with my own personal views. The response was pretty incredible. I hope you enjoy this.
