A few weeks ago, I asked you for some of the questions you often hear from Christians about gay people. I’ve selected my favorites to answer right here on the blog—questions like “Doesn’t the Bible say it’s a sin to be gay?”, “Why do gay people feel the need to tell everyone they’re gay?”, and “Isn’t calling yourself a gay Christian like calling yourself an adulterous Christian?”
I’ll be going through them one at a time, and indexing the whole series on this page, updating it as I go to include each new entry.
Here’s what we’ve got so far:
- “Doesn’t the Bible say it’s a sin to be gay?”
- “Why do gay people want to redefine marriage? What’s their real goal?”
- “Why do you have gay pride parades? We don’t have straight pride parades. (And isn’t pride a sin?)”
- “Why do you have to tell people you’re gay? Can’t you keep it in the bedroom?”
- “Isn’t calling yourself a ‘gay Christian’ like calling yourself an ‘adulterous Christian’?”
- “Shouldn’t your identity be in Christ, not your sexuality?”
