What it REALLY means to live like a Christian.

Shocked child holding Bible - photo by Ben White

In honor of this weekend’s release of A Wrinkle in Time, I thought I’d post one of my favorite keynote addresses from the past—one that happens to include an illustration from the novel.

This talk isn’t really about A Wrinkle in Time, though. It’s about Christianity and whether it really has any meaning for us anymore. What would it really mean for Christians to be like Jesus? If Christians have a terrible reputation in our culture today, whose fault is that?

This talk was at an LGBT Christian conference, so, obviously, it’s aimed at Christians, but if you want to learn about how my own view of faith has changed from my childhood to today, here it is.
